In the current MacOS software Ventura 13.1 the SMB (Server Message Block) protocol is implemented incorrectly. This leads to very low speeds when accessing files via a network drive. At the moment only a downgrade to MacOS Monterey or the change to Apple’s own AFP (Apple Filing Protocol) seems to help.
