Apple macOS Ventura 13.1 : Poor transfer speed with SMB shares

In the current MacOS software Ventura 13.1 the SMB (Server Message Block) protocol is implemented incorrectly. This leads to very low speeds when accessing files via a network drive. At the moment only a downgrade to MacOS Monterey or the change to Apple’s own AFP (Apple Filing Protocol) seems to help.
