3. import WireGuard configuration
- Open the WG Tunnel app and select the “Import configuration” option.
- You can either scan the configuration file as a QR code or import the
.conf filedirectly. - The configuration contains all the necessary information such as the public key, the server endpoint and the encryption settings.
4. add trusted networks
- In the settings of the WG Tunnel app, you can define networks that you trust – for example, your home Wi-Fi. WG Tunnel will only establish a VPN connection if you are outside of these trusted networks.
