The devices are very similar, not only in terms of the housing, but also in terms of the connections and performance. The app solution from both manufacturers is not yet completely satisfactory for users, although Ubiquiti in particular is known for working hard on the software components after product release.

If you already own Sonos sound equipment, you would probably go for the SONOS AMP. If you are a newcomer, you can also opt for the Unifi PowerAMP. However, no other audio equipment from Ubiquiti is known to date,
