Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game (ARPG) by Chinese developer miHoYo that was released in September 2020. The game is set in the open world of Teyvat, which consists of seven nations, each dedicated to a specific element and god. The player takes on the role of the “Traveler”, who is searching for his missing sibling and discovers the secrets of Teyvat in the process.
The gameplay combines exploration, puzzle solving and battles with elemental magic. Players can unlock and switch between multiple characters with different abilities to defeat enemies. Genshin Impact is known for its impressive graphics, captivating story and the Gacha system, through which new characters and weapons can be randomly unlocked using in-game currency.
